The Ganges Restaurant was established in 1981 by brothers Mahmood, Ahmed and Shohir Chowdhury, and is one of Bristol's oldest restaurants.
This Restaurant has been named after the great river Ganges that rises in Tibet, flows through India and reaches the sea at its destination in Bangladesh. The Ganges Restaurant menu provides a rich mix of classic dishes from India, Tibet and Bangladesh, reflecting the history and culture of the three countries of the Indian Sub-Continent. Curry connoisseurs will find their favourite dishes and will find new dishes to tantalise their tastebuds.
Newcomers to Indian food can choose from any one of our meat or vegetarian set menus. Alternatively our friendly staff are always on hand to advise you on your selection. |
